Autosar software component dynamic verification automation and automated test case generation with AI

Dynamic testing for Autosar SWCs on a target ECU is not easy due to the complexity of the test environment setup and the difficulty of generating test result reports. Since Autosar SWCs are implemented in ANSI C/C++, they are required to produce identical results whether they are tested on the target ECU or on a host environment such as Windows or Linux. Qt provides Autosar-based dependency generation features that simplify dynamic testing of Autosar SWCs in host environments. It also enables easy integration with third-party test frameworks such as Google Test and offers Coco for measuring code coverage. In addition, test cases can be generated by AI tools such as GPT and Copilot using Qt’s guidelines and prompts, significantly accelerating the test case creation process.
