Stäubli will introduce its automated Smart Config solution and MPS 035L advanced tool changer at the expo.

Smart Config’s modular design supports flexible customization, allowing for real-time configuration and instant, clear quotations to meet customer demands. Featuring leak-minimized couplers and durable electrical connectors, the system simplifies maintenance, enabling faster and easier interventions and reducing downtime for stable operations. Providing secure connections, Smart Config significantly reduces operational complexity.

Stäubli's latest advanced tool changer (ATC), the MPS035L, supports a payload of up to 20kg. With a combined weight of just 0.321kg for both the robot-side and tool-side base units, it allows for agile control of heavy tools, significantly enhancing operational efficiency. The compact robot-side adapter flange, with a PCD of 50mm, offers a space-saving design and modular structure, accommodating up to four modules. It features eight integrated pneumatic lines, enabling flexible configurations for various interfaces including air, fluids, data and power. Using proven ball lock technology, it maintains repeat precision of ±0.0015mm, ensuring stable locking performance and high reliability across up to 500,000 connection and disconnection cycles. The MPS 035L features teaching tools (teaching aids) and tool stands to reduce the complexity of installation and operation.
