End-to-end high-speed ethernet testing for next-gen in-vehicle networks

As the volume of data transmitted within vehicles continues to increase, the demand for high-speed ethernet has expanded beyond 100BASE-T1 and 1000BASE-T1, advancing toward 2.5G/5G/10GBASE-T1.

Technica will introduce the Multi-Gigabit Media Converter, essential for ECU and ADAS development, along with the CM Multigigabit TAP solution, which enables ethernet data capture without affecting the existing network. These two products provide stable and flexible network validation for high-speed domain testing and real-time data analysis environments.

In addition, Technica Engineering will present 10BASE-T1S solutions designed for low-speed domain networks. Based on a single twisted pair cable, 10BASE-T1S supports multi-drop communication and serves as a low-cost, low-complexity ethernet-based alternative to traditional CAN/LIN networks. By integrating low-speed devices such as sensors and actuators into the ethernet infrastructure, 10BASE-T1S offers an ideal solution for implementing zonal architectures.

Furthermore, Technica Engineering will introduce its Ethernet Switch for Automotive (EES), designed for a wide range of test environments. The EES supports various connector options and advanced features such as routing, mirroring and VLAN configuration, allowing users to easily adapt the system to specific test requirements.
