Voltage and current test requirements continue to increase, resulting in more tests requiring high-power systems. Kikusui has launched bidirectional power solutions to enable tests that require fast response and high stability while performing tests at high power. The PXB bidirectional power supply supports up to 1,500V/120A/20kW with one device and has a size of 3U. It is designed to fit the specifications of the rack, and is thus easy to use as a system. Up to 10 devices can be connected in parallel, making it simple to expand.

The PXB that will be introduced at the exhibition is a bidirectional power supply that not only operates normally even when the polarity of the current is changed during testing, but also operates by suppressing overshoot and undershoot even when the polarity of the current is changed. In addition, a regenerative function is included to regenerate the AC line when the load function is activated, thereby reducing heat emissions and contributing to energy saving.
