Michigan Scientific slip rings provide reliable, low-noise signal transmission for rotating automotive test applications, including wheel, driveline, and powertrain measurements. Designed specifically for instrumentation use, these rugged assemblies transmit strain, temperature, acceleration, encoder, and power signals directly from rotating components to stationary data acquisition systems.

Available in end-of-shaft and tubular (through bore) configurations, Michigan Scientific slip rings are engineered with precious-metal contacts to minimize electrical noise and preserve signal integrity for low-level sensor measurements. Weatherproof options ensure stable performance in harsh operating conditions, including high speed, vibration, and temperature extremes.

Slip rings support a broad range of channel counts and sensor types, enabling compact, high-channel rotating instrumentation systems for applications such as wheel force measurement, driveline durability testing, electric motor development, and rotating machinery diagnostics. When continuous, real-time data transmission is required, slip rings provide a proven and robust solution for demanding automotive test environments.
